Brianna Amenta (Oceanside, N.Y.), the Farmingdale State College women's basketball team opened Skyline Conference play with a 77-69 win Wednesday night at previously unbeaten St. Joseph's University-Brooklyn.

The Rams carried that momentum into the second period, when it outscored the Bears (4-1, 0-1) by a 27-14 margin on their way to a 45-30 edge at halftime.
