Biography

Samyah is a 2022 graduate of Martin Van Buren High School. She transferred to Farmingdale State after playing basketball at Queensborough Community College. Samyah is the daughter of Loreal Hughes.

2025-26...Played in all 27 games in her inaugural FSC season, starting 23 times...averaged 9.4 points to rank third on the team, while her 109 field goals made ranked second...swatted a team-high 40 blocked shots (1.5/gm. ranked No. 4 in Skyline), while registering 47 assists and 24 steals.
