Connolly, O'Grady-Rodgers Earn PING All-Region II Honors

COMPLETE NCAA DIVISION III PING ALL-REGION RELEASE

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL | The NCAA Division III PING All-Region Teams were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), and two members of the Farmingdale State men's golf team were selected to the Region II squad: freshman Philip Connolly (Garden City, N.Y.) and junior Luke O'Grady-Rodgers (Carmel, N.Y.).

Farmingdale State has now produced multiple All-Region selections in four consecutive seasons after having three honorees in 2025. Connolly and O'Grady-Rodgers helped guide the Rams to the 2026 Skyline Conference Championship and an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Championship, which begins Tuesday at Mission Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Connolly collects All-Region honors following an impressive freshman campaign in which he compiled a 75.5 scoring average over 21 rounds. The freshman earned First Team All-Conference honors after placing fifth at the Skyline Conference Championship with rounds of 73 (+1) and 81 (+9) for a two-round score of 154. Connolly also finished second at the FSC Skyline Invitational with a 2-over-par 74, and led Farmingdale State to a runner-up finish at The Gauntlet after carding rounds of 71 (+1) and 68 (-2) to finish second individually in a field of 75 golfers. He later added a third-place finish at the Swarthmore Invitational on March 29-30, shooting rounds of 76 (+5), 74 (+3) and 70 (-1) for a 220 total at White Manor Golf Club in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

O'Grady-Rodgers earns All-Region recognition after posting a 75.1 scoring average across 23 rounds this season. The junior claimed medalist honors at the FSC Skyline Invitational on October 17th after carding a 1-under 71, while also earning First Team All-Conference accolades with a second-place finish at the Skyline Conference Championship after rounds of 73 (+1) and 77 (+5) for a 150 total at Eisenhower Park's White Course. O'Grady-Rodgers also placed fifth at the George Cangero Invitational with an even-par 72, and recorded another fifth-place finish at The Gauntlet at Bucknell Golf Course after shooting rounds of 70 (E) and 71 (+1) on the par-70 course in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

The Rams will begin NCAA Championship play on Tuesday at Las Colinas Golf Course and are paired with Penn College and the University of Hartford. The championship field features 43 teams and 10 individuals competing over four days, with the field cut following 36 holes to the top-18 teams and top-six individuals not on advancing teams.
