PURCHASE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's volleyball team hit .337 on Tuesday night, as the Rams won their fourth-consecutive match with a 3-0, Skyline Conference decision over host Purchase College.
FSC (11-6, 3-2 Skyline) had 10 different players score points against the Panthers (2-12, 0-4), including a match-high 15 from junior outside hitter
Sarah Kollarik (Levittown, N.Y.) on 13 kills and two service aces. Sophomore outside
Samantha Russo (Bay Shore, N.Y.) added 10 kills and three aces, and middle blockers
Lauren Offermann (Sr.; North Babylon, N.Y.) and
Alana Henry (Fr.; Amityville, N.Y.) floored seven kills apiece. Senior setter
Sarah Rende (Wantagh, N.Y.) directed the Rams offense with 29 assists and tied Russo for the match-high with three points at the service line, while freshman
Ashley Anderson (Levittown, N.Y.) led all players with a career-best 19 digs along the Farmingdale State back row.
The Rams are back in Skyline Conference action on Thursday night (Oct. 16), when they play host to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at 7.
