NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference and New Jersey Athletic Conference released their winter weekly reports Tuesday morning, and a pair
 student-athletes from Farmingdale State College earned weekly honors, while one other was tabbed on the weekly honor roll.

Farmingdale State's teams kicked off the new calendar year Saturday at the William Sutherland Invitational in New Haven, Conn., earning four victories at the competition.
2024 honorable-mention All-American
Nicholas Lourenco (Bay Shore, N.Y. ) was named the NJAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week after winning the pole vault and qualifying for the regionals with a mark of 4.45m (14-7.25) in his season debut.
Freshman
Alice Valenzuela (Elmont, N.Y.) earned the NJAC Women's Rookie of the Week honors. She was the top Division III finisher and placed second overall in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:04.61. Her time is now eighth all-time in program history.
The Rams are back in action on Saturday, when they travel to New London, Connecticut to compete in the Coast Guard Academy Winter Invite.
Women's Basketball (9-5, 6-3 Skyline) | Skyline Report
After suffering a setback Tuesday to Skyline foe St. Joseph's-Long Island, the Rams notched their seventh win in their last nine games Friday afternoon with a 66-36 triumph at Sarah Lawrence College. Senior
Gemma Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.) registered career-highs of 25 points and 14 rebounds against the Gryphons.
Farmingdale State travels to Old Westbury for a 7 p.m. start on Tuesday, before welcoming Manhattanville University for a noontime start on Saturday.
Men's Basketball (6-7, 3-1 Skyline) | Skyline Report
FSC has now won three-consecutive contests after earning an 80-71 road decision Wednesday at St. Joseph's-Long Island, as well as an 89-66 victory Saturday versus Old Westbury.
Junior guard
Sean Conroy (Staten Island, N.Y.) averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 assists on the week for the Rams, while shooting 10-of-19 (.526) from the floor, and was named to the Skyline's Player of the Week honor roll.
The Rams tip off Wednesday night at 7 against visiting U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, before traveling Saturday to Mount Saint Mary College for a 3 p.m. start.
