Stock Sets All-Time Points and Goals Records in Win Over MSV

Farmingdale State - 22, Mount Saint Vincent - 6
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | Farmingdale State senior attack Thomas Stock (Selden, N.Y.) set the Rams' career goals and points records with his eight goal, three assist effort in FSC's 22-6 win over the University of Mount Saint Vincent on Friday evening.

Stock now has 133 goals and 76 assists for 209 points in his four-year Farmingdale State career. The previous record holder for points was former teammate Jake Wandle (2019-23) with 208, while Ryan LaFlare (2004-2007) had his 131 goal record surpassed.

FSC (11-2, 3-0 Skyline) scored 10 goals in the first 11 minutes of play with Stock recording five goals in the stretch, including four in the first 3:53 of action. Freshman attack Adam Giovinco (Syosset, N.Y.) and senior midfielder Kyle Kolano (Babylon, N.Y.) each scored twice in the opening quarter.

Stock broke the goal-scoring record with his 50th of the season on an extra-man opportunity with 8:18 left in the first half as the Rams held a 17-4 advantage at the break. Giovinco (4g) and Kolano (3g) each collected hat tricks in the first 30 minutes with Kolano dishing out three assists as well.

Farmingdale State outscored the Dolphins (5-6, 1-2 Skyline), 4-0, in the third quarter with Stock registering the 208th point of his career on an assist to Giovinco with 2:49 on the clock. He broke the record with an unassisted goal only 44 seconds into the fourth quarter as the Rams went on for the 22-6 victory.

Stock's 11 points in a single-game ranks third all-time, while his eight goals is fourth. Giovinco registered eight points on six goals and two assists. He also picked up six ground balls. Kolano ended with three goals, three assists, two ground balls and one caused turnover, while senior attack Rob Varello (Smithtown, N.Y.) produced one goal, two assists and one caused turnover in his season debut. John Carnevale (East Meadow, N.Y. - 1g, 1a), Tanner Longo (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y. - 2a) and Gerardo Maldonado (West Hempstead, N.Y. - 1g, 1a) each added two points in the win.

On defense, Sean Lawson (Mattituck, N.Y.) recorded three ground balls and four caused turnovers and Joseph Bleck (Farmingdale, N.Y.) tallied three ground balls and three CT's.

Senior Antonio Kaminskey (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) controlled face offs, going 19-for-24 with 11 ground balls.

The Rams will next travel to play Manhattanville in a Skyline Conference game on Wednesday, April 17th at 7:00 p.m.
