GALLOWAY, N.J. | The Farmingdale State College women's lacrosse team lifted the lid on its 2024 campaign Saturday afternoon, dropping a 15-7 decision to host Stockton University.

Stockton (2-0) netted the next two goals in player-up situations, starting a string of 10 consecutive strikes. The Ospreys held a 6-3 edge at halftime, and led 12-3 before FSC freshman
Olivia Cassese (Farmingdale, N.Y.) registered her first college goal to stop the run with 1:50 to go in the third period.
The fourth period saw both sides score three goals apiece, with Livingston completing her hat trick off a feed from sophomore
Kailee Coppola (Levittown, N.Y.) with 9:09 remaining, before junior
Molly Espey (W. Hempstead, N.Y.) and senior
Ashley Codispoti (Patchogue, N.Y.) scored at the 5:13 and 1:08 marks, respectively.Â
Codispoti and Diamond finished with a goal and assist apiece, with Codispoti controlling a team and career-best six draws on the afternoon. Junior
