Farmingdale State 110, Brooklyn 62
BROOKLYN | The Farmingdale State College men's basketball team won its fourth game in as many outings Wednesday night, as the Rams defeated host Brooklyn College, 110-62.

Six players from FSC (4-0) scored in double figures, including sophomore point guard Michael Notias (Manhasset, N.Y.), who hit all five of his field goals (three from 3-point range) and both of his free throws en route to a career-best 15 points. Senior guards Corey Powell (Valley Stream, N.Y.) and Aaron Davis (Valley Stream, N.Y.) registered 14 points apiece, with classmate Nick Hurowitz (Mt. Sinai, N.Y.) checking in with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Farmingdale State never trailed in the contest against the Bulldogs (0-3), and an 11-0 run over a 2:23 stretch gave the visitors a 21-6 lead when Davis finished off a fast-break layup with 12:43 on the first-half clock. Senior point guard Jevon Santos (Elmont, N.Y.) collected three layups in a 15-3 stretch to push the Rams' advantage 45-16 with less than five minutes to go, before the Rams brought a 59-22 lead into halftime. FSC held a 21-3 advantage in the opening half in fast-break points, while converting 11 Brooklyn turnovers into 19 points in transition.

The Rams used an early 13-2 run in the opening stages of the second session to push their edge to 74-29 just over four minutes in, with the lead getting as high as 52 points (93-41) when sophomore Macai John (Hauppauge, N.Y.) threw down a dunk on the break with 11:15 left.

Santos finished with 11 points and six assists, while John chipped in with 10 points and six boards. Sophomore Robbie Siechen (Syracuse, N.Y.) went 3-for-5 in the second half from downtown to score nine points for Farmingdale State, who had 15 players find the scoresheet on the evening.

Head coach Brendan Twomey's Rams are back in action at home Saturday afternoon (Nov. 18), when they welcome Ramapo College of New Jersey for a 2 p.m. tip.
