Biography

Macai is a 2022 graduate of Hauppauge High School, where he was named both All-County and All-State. Macai is the son of Michael and Amaryl John.

2023-24...Played in 11 games with one start...scored 60 points (5.5/gm.) on 25-of-48 shooting (.521), while adding six blocked shots.

2022-23...Saw action in 22 games as a freshman, starting 17 times...ranked third on team with 15 blocked shots...averaged 6.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per night, while shooting .526 from the floor (61-of-116).
