Rams Wrap Up NCAA DIII Outdoor Track Championships

Geneva, Ohio - The Farmingdale State men's outdoor track team wrapped up the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday afternoon at the SPIRE Institute.

On his first throw of the day, junior Jyaire Ewa (Stamford, Conn.) posted a 56.26m (184' 7") and would finish in 7th place overall in the event, earning him All-American honors.

The Rams also competed in two events on Thursday afternoon. In the 200m, senior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.) finished in 15th place with a time of 21.93.

In the 4x400m relay (Philip Sellitto, Chad George, Idowu Bamisile and Parkinson), the team ran a 3:17.01 to finish in 15th place overall.
