Lakewood, N.J. - Farmingdale State had three men's outdoor track student-athletes finish in the Top-5 in their respective events on Friday, May 12 at the Last Chance Meet at Georgian Court. This was the Rams last shot to qualify or improve their qualifying marks for the ECAC Championships, which takes place May 17-18 at Westfield State University.
Senior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.) posted a career-best in the 200m for a 2nd place finish with a time of 21.73, improving his ECAC qualifying mark and moving him to #5 All-Time at FSC in the event.
Junior Jyaire Ewa (Stamford, Conn.) took 3rd place in the Hammer throw with a mark of 171' 6" (52.27m).
Sophomore Richard Zapata (Farmingdale, N.Y.) finished 5th in the Pole Vault, clearing 12' 6" (3.81m).
