Queens, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team earned a 9-0 shutout victory over Sarah Lawrence at the USTA National Tennis Center on Tuesday evening. The Rams improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in Skyline Conference play, while the Gryphons fell to 2-4, 0-2.

In doubles competition, senior Jessica Sickles (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) and sophomore Priscilla Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) paired for an 8-3 victory in the #1 position. Sophomore's Tatiana Rosamilia (Malverne, N.Y.) and Michelle Fredericks (Farmingdale, N.Y.) recorded an 8-1 victory, while freshman Madison Schrader (Islip Terrace, N.Y.) junior Denise Liguori (Massapequa) won 8-4 in the second and third position, respectively.

In singles, Sickles (6-0, 6-0), Signore (6-2, 6-0), junior Alex Bentz (6-1, 6-1), Fredericks (6-2, 6-1), Rosamilia (6-1, 6-0) and Liguori (6-0, 6-0) all tallied victories for Farmingdale State.

The Rams next will host St. Joseph's in a Skyline Conference match on Thursday, September 25th at 4:00 p.m.
