Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team swept Hunter College 9-0 in a non-conference match on Wednesday night. The Rams improve to 3-0 on the year, while Hunter dropped to 0-2.

Sophomores Priscilla Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Tatiana Rosamilia (Malverne, N.Y.) posted an 8-0 victory at #2 doubles as Farmingdale State led 3-0 after the doubles matches.

In singles play, senior Jessica Sickles (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) shutout Hunter's Janani Bavanandan (Staten Island, N.Y.) in the #1 singles position (6-0, 6-0). Another shutout was posted at #6 singles by junior Denise Liguori (Massapequa, N.Y.) over the Hawks' Lindan Gebre Yohannes (Ethiopia).
