Farmingdale State - 5, Maritime College - 0

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Farmingdale State defeated Maritime College 5-0 today in a Skyline Conference men's soccer game. The Rams evened their record at 6-6 overall with the win, 2-2 in conference play while Maritime fell to 4-6-2, 1-2-1 in the Skyline.

Farmingdale State senior midfielder Renato Ipince (Lima, Peru) opened the scoring just 12:37 in, sending home a pass in front from sophomore midfielder J.T. Famularo (Levittown, N.Y.) for the 1-0 lead. Seven minutes later, senior midfielder Tyler Rollman (West Islip, N.Y.) made it 2-0 off another Famularo assist.

In the 27th minute, sophomore midfielder Victor Romero (Bay Shore, N.Y.) broke through the middle and sent a quick pass up to Famularo, who tapped the ball to freshman midfielder Andrew Ingargiola (Kings Park, N.Y.) for the score and a 3-0 advantage.

Romero added the fourth goal at 37:32 and the final tally came in the second half by sophomore midfielder Diego Sarmiento (Lindenhurst, N.Y.).

The Rams will now host NYU-Poly on Saturday, October 12th at 1:00 p.m.
