COMPLETE SKYLINE CONFERENCE RELEASE
NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference released its 2026 men's soccer all-conference team on Saturday, and three Farmingdale State College student-athletes received praise for their regular-season play. Junior fullback
William Guillen (Locust Valley, N.Y.) and sophomore midfielder
Carlos Hernandez (Dix Hills, N.Y.) both were cited on the All-Skyline First Team, while freshman striker
Javier Newman (Amityville, N.Y.) was named Rookie of the Year in addition to receiving a second-team nod.
Hernandez has been the ultimate team player for the Rams (8-9-2, 6-4-1 Skyline) this fall, leading the team's defensive midfield while also filling in as needed at both center back and center forward. He was one of five FSC players to start all 19 regular-season games, and enters Skyline Championship play with career-highs of six goals, three assists and 15 points.
In his second year as a starting fullback, Guillen has provided leadership and top play on both ends of the field. He has registered nine points going forward in the attack on three goals and as many assists, with all three statistics serving as career-highs.
After starting the season with an injury, Newman has taken the Skyline by storm. The conference's leader in assists (8) is one of just two players on the leaderboard with 30 points, and ranks fourth with a team-high 11 goals.
Fifth-seed Farmingdale State opens first-round play in the 2026 Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Championship on Sunday, when it plays at fourth-seeded U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at noon.
