Aubrey Walker Named ECAC Metro Softball Player of the Week

- Walker picks up first ECAC weekly award -

Centerville, Mass. - Sophomore first baseman Aubrey Walker (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon) was named the ECAC Metro Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday, March 30th for her play last week.

Aubrey recorded team-highs of 10 hits, 8 runs, 3 doubles and 3 homeruns as the Rams went 5-1 and opened up their conference schedule. She went 2-for-4 with 2RBI's, a double and a homerun against Merchant Marine, then in game 2 of NYU-Poly she hit 2 homers and a double in the win, followed by a 2-for-3 game in game 2 against Mount Saint Vincent with a double and 2 RBI's.

She currently leads the team with a .500 batting average, 50 at-bats, 19 runs scored, 25 hits, six doubles, 25 RBI's and a 1.100 slugging percentage. She is tied with junior teammate Nicole Farber with a team-leading eight homeruns.
