FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's tennis team won its third consecutive match Wednesday afternoon, and remained undefeated in Skyline Conference play as it defeated Mount Saint Mary College, 4-3.
The Rams (4-5, 2-0 Skyline) captured the match against the Knights (2-2, 0-1) by securing the doubles point with a pair of victories, before winning the first three singles matches into the scorebook.

Marybeth Zimos (Hicksville, N.Y.) and freshman
Ana Hernandez (Valley Stream, N.Y.) carded a 6-0 shutout against MSMC's Maria BenicioVentura and Grace Christie, before the doubles point was clinched for the home side when the No. 2 tandem of sophomore
Kaelin Burnett (East Islip, N.Y.) and freshman
Emma Johannsen (Verplanck, N.Y.) dispatched Chloe Graham and Megan Mann, 6-1.

Gabriella Loria (Levittown, N.Y.) opened singles play with a third-flight win over Graham by scores of 6-1 and 6-0, before Zimos put the Rams up 3-0 with a straight-sets victory versus Christie at No. 6 (6-2, 6-0). Johannsen clinched the triumph for FSC in the fifth flight, as she collected a 6-2, 6-0 decision against BenicioVentura.
After seven consecutive matches at home, Farmingdale State will now embark on a four-match road swing, beginning with Saturday's noontime first serve at William Paterson University.
