BROOKLYN, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's volleyball team moved to 4-1 on the season Thursday night, as the Rams hit .341 on their way to a three-set, non-conference sweep over host Brooklyn College.

Samantha DiBiasi (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) tying Russo for the match-high with four points at the service line. In total, the Rams put down 36 kills while landing 12 service aces to power past the Bulldogs (1-4).
Farmingdale State jumped out to a 1-0 lead by hitting a blistering .619 in the opening set, as it registered 13 kills on 21 error-free swings. The strong serving of DiBiasi and freshman
Valerie Rios Santos (Bronx, N.Y.) sent the Rams on a 13-1 run to close out the second set, before five kills on the right side by Wandmacher guided the visitors the third frame to close out the sweep.

Allison Salinas (Glen Cove, N.Y.) passed 22 digs in the back row to lead all players, including at least seven in all three sets, with classmate and setter
Sarah Rende (Wantagh, N.Y.) directing the Rams' offense with 20 assists.Â
Farmingdale State rounds out its road swing on Wednesday night (Sept. 23), when it travels to Danbury, Conn., for a 7 p.m. first serve at Western Connecticut State University.
