NORMAN, Okla. | The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2025-26 PLATFORM Team Academic Award recipients and Cobalt All-America Scholars for NCAA Division III, with Farmingdale State College earning a Team Academic Award and three Rams being named Scholar All-Americans.

Farmingdale State was one of 62 NCAA Division III programs to earn All-Academic Team recognition after posting a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. A GCAA-record 332 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Team Academic Award, with 156 programs receiving President's Special Recognition for achieving a team GPA of 3.5 or higher.

In addition, Farmingdale State had three student-athletes named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars: junior Padruig Douglas (Northport, N.Y.), junior Luke O'Grady-Rodgers (Carmel, N.Y.) and sophomore Rishi Talwar (East Farmingdale, N.Y.).

Douglas repeats as a Scholar All-American after another standout season for the Rams. He was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference honors at the Skyline Championship in October. Douglas finished with an even-par 144 (69-75) at Eisenhower Park's White Course to claim the individual title. He posted a 76.20 scoring average over 25 rounds this season and added top-eight finishes at both the FSC Skyline Invitational and the FSC Spring Invitational.

O'Grady-Rodgers helped FSC to the Skyline Conference Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship after finishing in second place with a score of 150 (73-77). He was named First Team All-Conference and a GCAA PING All-Region II selection. O'Grady-Rodgers recorded a team-low 75.08 scoring average over 25 rounds marking the ninth-lowest single-season scoring average in program history. He tallied four top-five finishes during the 2025-26 campaign.

Talwar earned his first Scholar All-American selection after posting a 76.0 scoring average across 16 rounds. His top performance of the season came at the FSC Bethpage Black Invitational, where he finished third after firing a 74. Talwar also placed 10th at The Gauntlet hosted by Drew University, shooting rounds of 73 and 72 for a two-round total of 145 (+5) while helping the Rams to a second-place team finish out of 15 competing schools.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

A total of 261 NCAA Division III student-athletes from 95 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors.
