FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College men's lacrosse team scored 10 first-quarter goals Wednesday afternoon and never looked back in defeating Skyline Conference foe Purchase College, 20-1.

Ethan Vargas (Bay Shore, N.Y.) completed his hat trick at the 13:08 mark of the second quarter, as Farmingdale State carried a 15-0 lead into halftime.
The Rams outshot Purchase by a 51-7 margin on the afternoon, and limited the visitors to a 9-of-23 success rate on clears. Senior
William Henry (West Islip, N.Y.) caused a game-high five turnovers at the back of the Farmingdale State defense, who used four goalkeepers for one period apiece, while junior midfielders
