RIVERDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's lacrosse team held a 5-2 lead at halftime on Tuesday at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, and scored seven unanswered goals in the third quarter on its way to a 15-4, Skyline Conference win.
The Rams (4-8, 3-1 Skyline) received unassisted goals inside the first five minutes of the game from seniors
Jordyn Neu (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) and
Kailee Coppola (Levittown, N.Y.), before the host Dolphins (2-6, 2-3) cut their deficit in half with 34 seconds left in the first quarter.
Neu's second goal of the day came 49 seconds into the second quarter, before junior attack
Carly Livingston (Farmingdale, N.Y.) scored her first two goals of the afternoon to help FSC carry its three-goal lead into the half.
