The Rams (10-7, 6-1 Skyline) did not concede any games in sweeping the three doubles matches from the Golden Eagles (3-10, 1-7) to take a 1-0 lead. The visitors' doubles shutout wrapped up when the third-flight tandem of junior Myles Freelin (Islip, N.Y.) and freshman Broc Brown (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) registering a 6-0 decision.

Agyeman (6-0, 6-0) and Pothier (6-0, 6-1) picked up their second victories of the day with wins at the Nos. 3 and 5 singles slots, respectively, while junior Danial Zindani (Walden, N.Y.) carded a 6-0, 6-0 effort at No. 6 to clinch the team victory for Farmingdale State.
