CLEARWATER, Fla. | The Farmingdale State College women's lacrosse competed in a pair of games on its spring break trip to Florida, dropping a 14-2 decision Tuesday to Stevenson University, as well as a 12-4 game one night later to Springfield College.

Junior goalkeeper Giavanna Stamatelo (Levittown, N.Y.) made 31 saves across the pair of games for the Rams (1-6), including a career-high 19 stops against Springfield. Classmate and attack Carly Livingston (Farmingdale, N.Y.) contributed to five of FSC's six goals in the Sunshine State, notching a goal and assist to start the trip against the Mustangs before netting a hat trick against the Pride. Senior Jordyn Neu (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) netted a goal versus Stevenson, while classmate Emily Sohm (Seaford, N.Y.) did the same one day later against Springfield.

Farmingdale State next returns to New York and will open Skyline Conference play on Wednesday afternoon (March 24), with a 4 p.m. opening draw at home versus Manhattanville University.
