2026 Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship Final

NEW YORK | The second-seeded Farmingdale State College men's basketball team fell at top-seeded Yeshiva University, 79-72, in the Skyline Conference Championship Final on Sunday afternoon.
With the win, Yeshiva (20-8) secured its second consecutive Skyline Conference title and earned the league's automatic bid into the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship, which begins next weekend. The Rams conclude the season at 24-4 overall.
Farmingdale State led 23-21 at halftime after holding the Maccabees to 32.3 percent shooting in the opening 20 minutes. The Rams trailed 13-12 midway through the half before sophomore guard Jordan Tucker (Elmont, N.Y.) made a basket, senior guard Michael Notias (Manhasset, N.Y.) converted three free-throws and junior forward Kentrell Evans (Brooklyn, N.Y.) registered a layup to put FSC in front, 19-13.
The Maccabees were down 23-15 and closed the half on a 6-0 run to trim the deficit to 23-21 at the break.
FSC opened the second half on a 10-4 run, including eight straight points from senior guard Robbie Siechen (Syracuse, N.Y.), to extend the lead to eight at 33-25. Yeshiva quickly responded with an 8-0 run, capped by a four-point play from senior Zevi Samet, to knot the score at 33-33. Following an Evans layup, Samet connected on another 3-pointer to put YU ahead, 36-35, with 15 minutes remaining.
Down two at 40-38, Farmingdale State junior forward Liam Buckley (Manhasset, N.Y.) recorded a tip-in layup and senior guard Sean Conroy (Staten Island, N.Y.) followed with a 3-pointer as the Rams went up, 43-40.
The Maccabees responded with 12 of the next 17 points to jump in front, 50-45.
Yeshiva led 60-54 and increased the advantage to nine after a quick 5-2 spurt. They led by 13 with 2:20 left to play before FSC hit a trio of 3's to close the gap.
YU converted six free-throws in the final 1:24 as they went on for the 79-72 victory.
Conroy led the Rams with 19 points, to go with four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Notias produced 14 points and five assists, while Siechen finished with 13 points. Evans had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Tucker added 10 points off the bench in the loss.
Yeshiva senior Max Zakheim was tabbed the Most Outstanding Player of the Skyline Conference Championship after recording seven points, eight rebounds, four assists and five steals.
