The Golden Eagles (12-14) responded with a 12-5 spurt to cut their deficit to three, but the Rams responded with three consecutive layups to regain a nine-point edge.

Following a jumper by the Golden Eagles, junior forward Liam Buckley (Manhasset, N.Y.) tallied a 3-pointer and a tip-in layup to give FSC a 26-14 advantage with 8:07 left in the first half.

Farmingdale State was ahead by 11 three minutes later before an 8-0 run put them in front by 19, 41-22.

The Rams led 47-27 at the break and opened the second half scoring eight of the first 10 points to take a commanding 26-point advantage, 55-29.

FSC maintained at least a 21-point edge over the remaining 15:55 of the contest as they rolled to the 83-62 victory.
