Men's Tennis Drops Season Opener to Adelphi

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | In the season opener for both teams on Wednesday afternoon, the Farmingdale State College men's tennis team fell by a 7-0 score to visiting NCAA Division II institution Adelphi University.

The Rams' sophomore duo of Jordan Gonzalez (Central Islip, N.Y.) and Michael Lerman (Massapequa, N.Y.) secured two games in their third-flight doubles match versus their counterparts from AU, while Lerman collected four games in his No. 4 singles match against his Panthers counterpart. 

Farmingdale State is back on the court Saturday (Sept. 13) at 11 a.m. versus Pratt Institute.
