NEWARK, N.J. | The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team opened the 2025 season with a pair of victories on Friday, defeating host-school Rutgers-Newark in straight sets before earning a 3-1 win over Hunter College.
Against Hunter, the Rams split the first two sets before closing out the match with back-to-back 25-19 wins in the third and fourth sets.

Sarah Kollarik (Levittown, N.Y.) led the way with 14 points on nine kills and five service aces. Senior middle blocker
Lauren Offermann (North Babylon, N.Y.) hit .333 with eight kills and two solo blocks, while freshman outside
Allison Marino (Merrimack, NH) contributed eight kills and two digs. Senior setter
Sarah Rende (Wantagh, N.Y.) filled the stat sheet with 29 assists, 13 digs, four kills, and two aces.

Delaney Keegan (Lake Grove, N.Y.) added 17 digs and four kills, and freshman outside
Ashley Anderson (Levittown, N.Y.) served a match-high six aces in the win.
