LOUISVILLE, Ky. | The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its 2025 Scholar All-American Team on Tuesday morning, and Farmingdale State College men's lacrosse senior defender
William Henry (West Islip, N.Y.) became the fifth player in program history to earn the prestigious honor – and the fourth in the last three seasons.
Henry's fellow seniors,
Dan Erler (Smithtown, N.Y.) and
Kyle Kolano (Babylon, N.Y.), received USILA Scholar All-American praise in 2024, while now-assistant coach
Jake Wandle collected the distinction in 2023. The Rams' first recipient in their NCAA era was Ryan LaFlare in 2007.
As part of the nation's second-ranked scoring defense (7.30/gm.), Henry started in all 20 contests, leading FSC defensemen with 25 caused turnovers (No. 2 overall on the team), while his 35 ground balls ranked second on the backline (No. 6 overall).
A Business Management major, Henry was a first-team All-Skyline Conference selection in 2025 and helped Farmingdale State to a 16-4 record, Skyline Conference Championship and automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship – each of which occurred for the second-straight season. The Rams also played host to a first-round NCAA tourney game for the first time in program history.
