COMPLETE SKYLINE CONFERENCE RELEASE
NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference's 11 head baseball coaches have cast their votes on the 2025 edition of the all-conference team, and six student-athletes from Farmingdale State College were recognized in the balloting – including senior right-handed pitcher
Johnny Dougherty (Kings Park, N.Y.), who was selected as Pitcher of the Year for the second-straight season and headlines a list of five Rams on the All-Skyline First Team.
Dougherty is joined on the First Team by senior first baseman
Jordan Lambert (Plainview, N.Y.), junior outfielder
Richie Heyder (Holbrook, N.Y.), junior right-handed pitcher
Derek Watts (Baldwin, N.Y.) and junior lefty reliever
Michael Camardi (Syosset, N.Y.). Freshman shortstop
Kaolis Delacruz (Levittown, N.Y.) received an all-conference second-team nod, while senior
Matthew Flood (Islip, N.Y.) was tabbed on the Skyline's All-Sportsmanship Team.
A preseason All-America selection and last season's Skyline Pitcher of the Year, Dougherty continued his standout tenure with FSC in 2025. He ranks in the top-40 nationally in WHIP (17th; 0.95), strikeouts per nine innings (27th; 12.04), earned run average (34th; Skyline-best 2.01) and hits allowed per nine innings (37th; 6.20). He enters conference championship week with a 3-3 record and one save across his 10 appearances (nine starts), has struck out 66 batters over 49.1 innings of work, and has limited the opposition to a .200 batting average.
Lambert was a second-team all-conference choice one year ago, and enters this week's conference tournament with program records of 176 hits and 134 runs batted in across his five-year Rams career. A Gold Glove candidate for the second-consecutive season, he's batting .342 in 2025 with 21 runs scored, a team-high 30 RBI and a .996 fielding percentage across his 255 chances at first base.
In his second year with the program, Heyder is one of the top hitters in the country, as his .458 batting average ranks 14th nationally in Division III. The April 23 Skyline Player of the Week has registered a team-best 14 extra-base hits, including nine doubles, three triples and two home runs, and scored 25 runs while driving in 29.
Watts has logged 42.2 innings on the bump for Farmingdale State, and sports a 5-1 record with a 2.95 ERA and a .242 batting average against.Â
Camardi has come out of the bullpen a team-high 13 times across his 14 appearances, and has a team-best 1.83 ERA to his credit. He enters conference championship week with a 3-0 record, one save and 25 strikeouts over his 19.2 innings of work.
Delacruz has scored a team-high 34 runs in his first collegiate season, and is batting .368 with 11 extra-base hits and a team-leading 19 walks (.487 on-base percentage).
Farmingdale State (21-13) is the No. 3 seed in this week's six-team, 2025 Skyline Conference Baseball Championship. The Rams will play host to a single-elimination game Monday night at 6 p.m., against sixth-seeded Manhattanville University.
