FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | D3baseball.com released its 2025 All-America Team on Wednesday morning, and Farmingdale State College senior right-handed pitcher
Johnny Dougherty (Kings Park, N.Y.) received fourth team accolades.
Dougherty is the first All-America selection for FSC since 2022, when pitcher Stephen Clancy earned third-team honors.
Dougherty, who was named a pre-season All-American in January, was the team's ace and named Skyline Conference Pitcher of the Year for the second straight season. He finished the year with a 4-4 record, two saves, a .207 batting average against and 79 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched. Dougherty ranked 26th in the Nation for strikeouts per nine innings (11.85), 42nd for WHIP (1.03) and 97th in earned run average (2.85). He ends his career at FSC with 186 strikeouts, 2.39 ERA, 10.33 strikeouts per nine innings and a program-best seven complete games.
