FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College men's tennis team rolled to its seventh-straight victory Wednesday afternoon, as the Rams defeated Skyline Conference foe Mount Saint Mary College, 7-0.

FSC (9-2, 2-0 Skyline), which was ranked No. 71 in the April 2 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III National Rankings, jumped out to a 1-0 lead after sweeping all three doubles matches. The top-flight tandem of senior Alan Sabovic (Bohemia, N.Y.) and junior Ryan Hendel (Merrick, N.Y.) bested Luke Bayless and John Paul Corini by a 6-0 count, while the third-flight duo of sophomores Ty Williams (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and Emil Sabovic (Bohemia, N.Y.) carded the same score against the Knights' (4-5, 1-2) Dylan Stackpole and Mateo Romero. Farmingdale State's No. 2 partnership of seniors Muhammad Sawar (Brentwood, N.Y.) and Vansh Aggarwal (Mumbai, India) rounded out the sweep, coming back from four games down to register a 6-4 decision over against MSMC's Sean Watson and Marco Collarelli.

Four Rams singles players swept their Mount Saint Mary counterparts by 6-0, 6-0 victories, including Alan Sabovic in the top flight against Bayless, Hendel at No. 4 versus Collarelli, Sawar in the fifth flight against Stackpole, and sophomore Kwaku Agyeman (Middletown, N.Y.) in the sixth slot over Romero.

FSC plays host to its second 4:30 p.m. match in as many days on Thursday, when it competes in non-conference action versus John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
