FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College men's tennis team won its eighth-consecutive match on Thursday night, as the Rams moved to 10-2 on the season with a 7-0 shutout over visiting John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Farmingdale State's regularly scheduled, Skyline Conference match at rival Manhattanville University has been pushed to Sunday at 1 p.m., due to inclement weather slated to hit the metropolitan New York area on Saturday. As a result, the Rams' Sunday non-conference match at Nichols (Mass.) has been canceled and will not be made up.
