PURCHASE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College men's tennis team, listed No. 73 in the April 16 edition of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Division III National Rankings, won its 10th-straight match Friday afternoon, as it defeated Skyline Conference foe Purchase College on the road, 6-1.

Alan Sabovic (Bohemia, N.Y.) and junior
Ryan Hendel (Merrick, N.Y.), as well as the second-flight pairing of sophomores
Kwaku Agyeman (Middletown, N.Y.) and
Ty Williams (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.).
Williams bumped the Rams' edge to 2-0 when he captured a 6-0, 6-1 decision at No. 6 singles versus PC's Andrew Agosto, before Agyeman registered a fifth-flight victory against Mains by matching 6-1 scores in straight sets. Sawar clinched the team match for the visitors in the No. 4 position, as he bested Dexter Pretnar by scores of 6-3 and 6-2.
Farmingdale State is back in road Skyline action Wednesday afternoon (April 23), when it travels to Kings Point, N.Y., for a 4 p.m. first serve at the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
