FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | For the third consecutive year, the Farmingdale State College men's lacrosse team is raising money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to funding lifesaving childhood cancer research. This year, the Rams are competing against 11 other teams in the
Teams for St. Baldrick's virtual event, with the goal of raising the most money for the cause.
FSC, who took part in the shave-off events in 2023 and 2024, will participate once again, with senior
Nick Rizzuto (Bohemia, N.Y.) and sophomore
Mark Reyes (East Meadow, N.Y.) set to shave their heads to help raise awareness and funds to help Conquer Kids Cancer.
Farmingdale State has raised over $1,700 in less than 24 hours thus far and currently sits in fourth place, just behind the Lafayette Men's Lacrosse program.
