SCRANTON, Penn. | The Farmingdale State men's lacrosse team extended its winning streak to eight games with a 13-5 victory at Marywood University on Friday afternoon. This marks the second-longest winning streak in program history, behind only the nine-game stretch in 2023. The Rams (8-2) commence Skyline Conference play next Friday (April 4) against St. Joseph's-Long Island.
After both teams scored one goal in the opening quarter, Farmingdale State rattled off three consecutive scores in the second to jump ahead, 4-1. Senior
Thomas Stock (Selden, N.Y.) kicked off the second quarter scoring just 47 seconds in. He followed that up with an assist on a man-up goal by classmate
Thomas Mai (Islip, N.Y.). Junior
Kamryn Gill (Riverhead, N.Y.) then added an unassisted goal, putting the Rams in front, 4-1.
FSC maintained a three-goal advantage, 5-2, and scored the only two goals of the third quarter, extending their lead to 7-2 heading into the final 15 minutes.
Stock netted his second goal of the game just 42 seconds into the fourth quarter before Marywood (5-6) responded quickly with a goal of their own. From there, the Rams pulled away with two goals from senior
Andrew Giovinco (Syosset, N.Y.) and one from junior
Amir Slaughter (North Babylon, N.Y.) to go up, 11-3, with eight minutes remaining.

Adam Giovinco (Syosset, N.Y.) to seal the 13-5 non-conference victory.
Stock finished with two goals and two assists for a game-high four points. The program's all-time leading scorer has registered 4+ points in four of the last five contests. Gill contributed three goals, while

Adam Giovinco (1g, 2a) and Slaughter (1g, 2a) each tallied three points. Senior
Antonio Kaminskey (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) went 10-for-16 on faceoffs and picked up a game-high seven ground balls.
Sophomore
Joseph Bleck (Farmingdale, N.Y.) led the FSC defense with four ground balls and a career-high four caused turnovers, while senior goalkeeper
Dan Erler (Smithtown, N.Y.) stopped nine of 14 shots on goal.
