Mount Saint Vincent - 2, Farmingdale State - 0
RIVERDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State women's soccer team fell on the road, 2-0, to Skyline opponent Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Rams move to 4-8-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play, while the Dolphins improved to 6-1-2, 4-0-1.

Mount Saint Vincent struck first in the 14th minute when Aiyanna Robles Sedano found the back of the net for her fourth goal of the season to give the Dolphins a 1-0 advantage. Farmingdale State had a chance in the first half as freshman forward Paulina Fonfara (Glen Cove, N.Y.) put a shot on goal, but it was turned aside by MSV goalkeeper Javiera Sanchez.

In the second half, Mount Saint Vincent added a goal in the 73rd minute to extend their lead to 2-0. The Dolphins held the Rams without a shot on goal down the stretch as they went on for the victory.

Senior goalkeeper Hailey Stork (Bellmore, N.Y.) finished with six saves in net for FSC, while Sanchez recorded one for MSV to earn the shutout.

The women's soccer team will next host Purchase College for a Skyline match on Tuesday, October 7th at 6:00 p.m.
