NEW YORK |Â The Skyline Conference released its fall weekly reports Monday afternoon, and four Farmingdale State College student-athletes were selected as Rookie of the Week in their respective sports, while another quartet garnered honorable mention praise. Additionally, the first Skyline Conference championship crowned in the 2025-26 academic was the Rams' golf team.
Golf
Farmingdale State was busy on the links in the last seven days, placing sixth in Thursday's 36-hole Adelphi Invitational, before winning the FSC Skyline Invitational on Friday. The Rams then captured their record-17th, and sixth-consecutive, Skyline Conference Men's Golf Championship at Eisenhower Park on Sunday and Monday. You can read more about the championship

Padruig Douglas (Northport, N.Y.) and freshman
Luke Grebinar (Leominster, Mass.) received the conference's Player and Rookie of the Year awards, respectively.
FSC will next compete in the spring portion of its season, and as a result of winning the Skyline title has earned automatic qualification to the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship (May 12-15; Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.).
Women's Tennis (9-4, 7-0Â Skyline) |Â Skyline Report
The women's tennis team went 4-0 since the last writing in Skyline competition, defeating Purchase (Wed.), Sarah Lawrence (Fri.) and Mount Saint Mary (Sat.) by identical 7-0 scores to lock up the No. 1 seed for this week's four-team Skyline Conference Women's Tennis Championship. FSC then completed its regular-season fall schedule with an identical 7-0 shutout Monday night over Mount Saint Vincent.
Freshman sensation
Martine McGowan (Port Washington, N.Y.) was tabbed as the Skyline's Rookie of the Week for the conference-high fourth time this season, as she conceded just three games in doubles competition with senior
Gabriella Loria (Levittown, N.Y.), while dropping just a pair of games across her three straight-set singles victories.
Junior
Natalia Furchel (Manorville, N.Y.) received an honorable mention nod from the Skyline, after sweeping through her No. 1 singles and doubles matches across the week.
The Rams will start conference championship play Wednesday with a 4:30 p.m. first serve at home versus fourth-seeded Yeshiva University. The championship final will take place at the highest-remaining seed on Saturday (Oct. 25) at a time to be determined.
Volleyball (12-7, 4-3 Skyline)Â |Â Skyline Report
FSC went 2-1 in conference play last week, sweeping Purchase (Tue.) and USMMA (Thu.) before falling in a five-set marathon on Saturday at Mount Saint Mary.
Freshman middle blocker
Alana Henry (Amityville, N.Y.) earned her second Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week honor in the last three reporting periods, as she .366 in the middle of the Rams' lineup while averaging 3.64 kills and 3.86 points per set.
Senior libero
Delaney Keegan (Lake Grove, N.Y.) was selected to the Skyline's honor roll, as passed 4.18 digs per set over the three-match stretch.
Farmingdale State has a pair of home matches this week, including Wednesday's 7 p.m. contest with Skyline opponent Mount Saint Vincent, and Friday's 6 p.m., Senior Night match-up versus Baruch.

Skyline Women's Report
The Rams' last race before the Skyline Conference Cross Country Championships took place on Saturday at the St. Joseph's-Long Island Invitational from Sunken Meadow State Park, where the men's squad placed third while the women's team finished 10th.
Women's freshman competitor
Amelia Vitale (Hauppauge, N.Y.) received weekly kudos from the Skyline for the third time this season, as she collected her second Rookie of the Week citation by placing seventh with her 5,000-meter time of 21:37.8.Â
On the men's side, junior
Gabriel Aguilar (Levittown, N.Y.) was an honorable mention choice following his fifth-place, 28:38.1 time on the 8,000-meter loop.
The 2025 Skyline Conference Cross Country Championships will take place Sunday (Oct. 26) at Purchase College, with the women's and men's races beginning at 11 a.m. and noon, respectively.

After falling 1-0 on Wednesday night at conference opponent Sarah Lawrence, FSC responded on Saturday with a 1-0 triumph at Mount Saint Mary.
Freshman midfielder
Natalia Seminatore (Oceanside, N.Y.) tallied her first-career goal in Saturday's victory against the Knights less than 10 minutes after subbing onto the field in the first half, and was rewarded with the Skyline Conference's Rookie of the Week honor.
Senior keeper
Hailey Stork (Bellmore, N.Y.) was selected as an honorable mention choice from the conference, after she made six saves (.867 pct.) and posted a 0.50 goals-against average across the two matches.
The Rams face a pair of home Skyline matches this week that will prove pivotal for playoff positioning, including Wednesday's 5 p.m. contest against conference-unbeaten U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and Saturday's 2:30 p.m. Senior Day game versus Manhattanville.

After Farmingdale State rounded out its non-conference slate Wednesday versus nationally regarded Haverford College, the Rams played host Mount Saint Mary to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night.Â
FSC travels to Skyline co-leader U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. kickoff, before playing host to defending conference champion Manhattanville University in a noontime start on Saturday.
