Rachel McAuliff (Sayville, N.Y.) netted her third goal of the season Sunday afternoon for the Farmingdale State College women's soccer team, which suffered a 5-1 loss to Shenandoah University.
Shenandoah (3-2) scored seven minutes into play, and carried a 2-0 lead into halftime. After the Hornets extended their advantage to three goals in the 69th minute, McAuliff put the Rams (1-3) on the board with 16:52 to go. SU closed out action with a pair of goals across the final 11-plus minutes.
