SKYLINE CONFERENCE RELEASE
NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference has selected the winning design of their Championship Logo Contest, and Farmingdale State women's lacrosse defender
Dominique Baldino's (Island Park, N.Y.) design has been voted as the winner!
The Skyline opened the contest in July and after receiving submissions created a vote via social media and the conference website to have the community of fans select the winning logo. A total of 630 votes were received between nine designs up for the honor, with 280 going to Baldino's submission.
Dominique, a four-year player for FSC, graduated in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Visual Communications: Graphic Design. This past season, she helped the Rams to the Skyline Conference Championship, playing in 19-of-20 games and registering 20 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers from her defensive position. She collected an All-Skyline Second Team selection, CSC Academic All-District and Skyline's Academic Honor Roll.
"I'm honored to win this design contest," said Baldino, who won a $50 gift certificate and recognition on the conference website and socials for her design. "I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the Skyline Conference outside of competing on the field."
Skyline Commissioner Melissa Reilly said, "the contest was not only an exciting and interactive way to select our featured "Champions" logo for the year, but it was also an initiative to bring our Skyline community together. The Skyline will continue to look for innovative ways to engage with our fans by providing opportunities to connect with contests and unique content across our platforms."
