BROOKLYN, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College volleyball team won for the fifth time in its last six matches on Tuesday night, defeating host Brooklyn College in non-conference play, 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-20).
The Rams (6-4), playing in their final match before opening Skyline Conference play next week, notched 10 aces from the service line, including four by senior middle hitter
Mikayla Profeta (West Islip, N.Y.), who a match-high 11 kills on .455 hitting to lead all players with 16.0 points. Junior outside hitter
Delaney Keegan (Lake Grove, N.Y.) checked in with eight kills and 13 digs, while junior

Samantha Russo (Bay Shore, N.Y.) picked up 6.0 points apiece in the victory. Russo's 22 digs in the back row were a match-best, while sophomore setter
Sarah Rende (Wantagh, N.Y.) directed the FSC offense with 28 assists to go with 12 digs and five kills on .385 hitting.
Farmingdale State's Skyline opener is set for next Tuesday (Oct. 1), when it plays host to SUNY Old Westbury in a 6 p.m. first serve.
