Jean Mejia into the top-right of the penalty area. The freshman cut to his left, and beat the YU keeper to double the Rams' lead.Â
Jean Mejia netted his second of the afternoon five minutes later, when Bileddo's cut-back pass across the six-yard box found the freshman at the right-hand post to give Farmingdale State a 3-0 edge.
YU pulled one goal back 4:08 before the final whistle, capitalizing on a Rams turnover in their defensive penalty area.
Sophomore keeper
Anthony Martinez (Bay Shore, N.Y.) made four saves in goal for Farmingdale State, which is back in Skyline action Wednesday night (Sept. 18) in a 7 p.m. kickoff at SUNY Maritime College.
