FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College volleyball team ran its winning streak to three matches Saturday afternoon, as the Rams (4-3) defeated visiting Pratt Institute, 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-16).

Samantha Russo (Bay Shore, N.Y.) broke a 1-1 deadlock early in the first set to put the hosts in full control against the Cannoneers (1-3). The Rams continued their dominance in the second frame by jumping out to a 15-5 edge, before taking a nine-point decision in the final set.

Delaney Keegan (Lake Grove, N.Y.) led all players with 10 points on seven kills and three service aces, while Russo finished with seven points (four service aces) and 11 digs. Senior middle
Mikayla Profeta (W. Islip, N.Y.) registered a standout .636 hitting percentage (7-0-11), and tied Keegan for the match-high in kills. Sophomore setter

Farmingdale State is back in action Wednesday night (Sept. 18), when they travel to Western Connecticut State University for a 7 p.m. first serve from Danbury, Conn.Â
