FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's tennis team opened its Skyline Conference schedule on Thursday with a 7-0 victory over visiting Yeshiva University.

Gabriella Loria (Levittown, N.Y.) and
Mikayla DeMaria (W. Babylon, N.Y.) carded a 6-4 victory in the third flight versus Sarah Grunseid and Eliana Tilem.
Collings's 6-0, 6-2 victory in top-flight singles play against Adler put FSC ahead 2-0, before Furchel (vs. Mimoun; 6-3, 6-1) and Loria (vs. Grunseid; 6-2, 6-2) clinched the team victory with wins in the Nos. 2 and 5 flights, respectively. Jones battled in her No. 3 match versus Leiderman to capture a 7-5, 6-1 decision, while DeMaria outlasted Yeshiva's Gabrielle Resnick in the sixth flight, 6-3 and 7-5. Rounding out the Rams' sweep was Gisler at No. 4, where she battled back from one set down to earn a 2-6, 6-2 and 1-0 (10-5 in the super tiebreaker) victory against Laufer.
Farmingdale State continues its homestand Saturday, when it welcomes Pratt Institute for a noontime first serve.
