READING, Pa. | A pair of first-half goals by host Alvernia University led the Wolves to a 3-0 victory Sunday afternoon over the Farmingdale State College men's soccer team.
Alvernia (1-0-1) opened the scoring on a penalty in the 15th minute of play, before a long-range strike to the top-left corner 19 minutes later gave the home side a 2-0 advantage heading into halftime over the Rams (1-1).
The Wolves registered one more goal on a final-third takeaway nine minutes into the second half, before back-to-back efforts in the 62nd minute by FSC sophomore

Olvin Yanes (Selden, N.Y.) were turned aside by the Alvernia keeper to keep the score at 3-0.Â
