NEW HAVEN, Conn. | The Farmingdale State College outdoor track and field teams competed Saturday at the Jack Maloney Invitational, as the Rams took part in their last meet before the April 28, Skyline Conference Championships.
On the men's side, sophomore
Nicholas Lourenco (Bay Shore, N.Y.) won the pole vault with his leap of 4.70m (15-5), while his brother, Matthew Lourenco (Bay Shore, N.Y.) placed fifth (3.95m; 12-11.5). Sophomore

Loamy Maldonado (Brentwood, N.Y.) placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with her time of 17:58.83, while freshman
Margaret Adams (No. Babylon, N.Y.) placed fourth (21:02.95). Freshman
Mishell Delgado (Bronx, N.Y.) cleared a fourth-place height of 2.30m (7-6.5) in the pole vault, and earned a seventh-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (18.99). Senior
Alexxis McNeil (Valley Stream, N.Y.) registered top-10 finishes in the 200 (26.80, seventh) and 100-meter (13.12, ninth) dashes, while jumpers

Sunday's (April 28) 2024 Skyline Conference Track and Field Championships will be hosted by Farmingdale State College, with field events commencing at 10 a.m. before the track events get underway at 11:30 a.m.
