FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's tennis team picked up its 11th consecutive win on Monday night, taking an 8-1 decision versus non-conference opponent Brookyln College. The Rams continue to extend their record-setting winning streak and 11-0 start to the 2023-24 season.
FSC swept through doubles play, capped off by an 8-7 (11-9) tiebreak win at #1 doubles by sophomore 
Ryan Hendel (North Merrick, N.Y.) and junior 
Vansh Aggarwal (Mumbai, India). The second pairing of seniors 
Alan Sabovic (Bohemia, N.Y.) and 
Matthew Waterhouse (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) cruised to an 8-0 win, while the third duo of senior 
Muhammad Sawar (Brentwood, N.Y.) and freshman 
Ty Williams (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) picked up an 8-2 win.
Hendel increased the Farmingdale State advantage to 4-0 with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at #2 singles, before Williams earned a 6-1, 6-0 win in the fifth slot to clinch the match.
Aggarwal (6-1, 6-1) and Sawar (6-3, 6-1) followed by taking third and fourth singles, respectively, and Sabovic captured the top-flight match 7-6 (7-2), 6-1 to account for the Rams eight points.
Farmingdale State looks to keep their streak alive when they travel to the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16th at 4:00 p.m. FSC defeated the Blue Jays, 6-3, in last seasons matchup.
