Farmingdale State - 12, Ramapo - 7
MAHWAH, N.J. | The Farmingdale State women's lacrosse team traveled to Ramapo College for a non-conference game on Wednesday evening and used a five-goal fourth quarter to earn a 12-7 victory. FSC picked up their first win of the season and is now 1-3 overall.
After the Roadrunners (1-1) scored the opening goal of the game, Rams' freshman attack
Carly Livingston (Farmingdale, N.Y.) responded with back-to-back goals over the next three minutes to take a 2-1 advantage.

Olivia Cassese (Farmingdale, N.Y.) followed with an unassisted goal to put the Rams ahead, 3-1.Â
Ramapo registered three of the next four goals in the final 2:01 of the quarter as the game headed into the second tied at 4-4.

Emily Sohm (Seaford, N.Y.) and junior midfielder
Molly Espey (West Hempstead, N.Y.) tallied goals to regain the lead, 6-5.
The Roadrunners registered a goal with 50 seconds on the clock to knot the score at 6-6 heading into the halftime break.
Each team produced one goal in the third quarter to make it a 7-7 game going into the fourth.
Espey won the opening draw control in the quarter to set up a quick goal by Livingston and give FSC an 8-7 advantage. Just 2:14 later, Livingston caused a Ramapo turnover, which allowed Cassese to score at the other end to put the Rams ahead by two.
After a timeout by the Roadrunners, Espey tallied another draw control win to give FSC possession. Livingston recorded her fourth goal just over a minute later as Farmingdale State took a 10-7 lead.

Kailee Coppola (Levittown, N.Y.) found the back of the net in a 50-second span to take a commanding 12-7 edge.
 FSC held Ramapo to just two shots on goal down the stretch as they went on for the 12-7 victory.
Livingston led all scorers with a career-best five goals. She also had two caused turnovers and four ground balls. Cassese registered two goals and one assist for three points and Sohm tallied two goals and three ground balls. Sarah Fava (Lynbrook, N.Y.) added two caused turnovers and four ground balls.

Ronnie Reilly (Oceanside, N.Y.) (W, 1-0)Â split time in net and recorded four saves apiece.
