FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College men's lacrosse team proudly teamed up with the Long Island Metro Lacrosse Foundation (LIMLF) to play a wheelchair lacrosse game on February 3.
This marked the second-consecutive year of the partnership, as the Rams and the Long Island Hammerheads -- a wheelchair lacrosse team breaking barriers for individuals with physical disabilities -- competed in a spirited game of skills and camaraderie. After the Hammerheads took the first-ever contest with the two programs, FSC avenged the loss this time through.
The LIMLF sponsors the Hammerheads program. The Foundation is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and passion for lacrosse, and have partnered with a Hammerheads team that plays a vital role in promoting physical activity among adaptive athletes.
The Farmingdale State men's lacrosse program remains committed to supporting the growth of wheelchair lacrosse on Long Island.
