PURCHASE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State women's soccer team cruised to a 5-0 win at Purchase College on Saturday. The Rams out shot the Panthers 45-1 and held a 15-0 corner kick advantage en route to the Skyline Conference victory.
FSC (4-6-3, 3-0-2 Skyline) opened the scoring just 3:26 in as junior forward
Alyse Rivera (Manhattan, N.Y.) tallied her sixth goal of the season off the pass from freshman forward

The Rams second goal came in the 14th minute as a corner kick led to a goal by freshman forward
Abigail Chest (Johnstown, N.Y.), assisted by senior midfielder
Mikayla Spiering.
Over the final 30 minutes of the first half, Purchase goalie Jill Creegan made five saves as the score remained 2-0.
Farmingdale State increased the lead to 3-0 just 8:53 into the second half with Rivera setting up sophomore
Kayla Mendez (Staten Island, N.Y.) for her third goal of 2024.
Mendez produced her second of the game only 5:23 later, off the pass from Spiering, to give the Rams a 4-0 advantage.
The final goal came on a penalty kick by Rivera in the 74th minute as FSC went on for the 5-0 Skyline Conference victory.
Rivera registered a match-high six shots on goal and now ranks sixth in the conference for both goals (7) and points (18).
The women's soccer team will next play host to Mount Saint Mary College for a Skyline match on Tuesday, October 8th at 5:00 p.m.
