HAMDEN, Conn. | The Farmingdale State College men's soccer team fell at Quinnipiac University Tuesday afternoon, 9-0, in the Rams' first-ever contest against a Division I opponent.
The Bobcats (3-4-1) received two goals from Fredrik Moen by the 10-minute mark, and built their advantage to 4-0 by halftime. They added one more score four minutes into the second frame, before rounding out the scoring with four goals in the final 12 minutes of play.
FSC (5-3-3) fired three shots at the Quinnipiac net on the afternoon, but were unable to find the target versus the Bobcats' back line.Â

Anthony Martinez (Bay Shore, N.Y.) made four first-half saves for the Rams, who return to Skyline Conference play Saturday (Oct. 5) when they play host to St. Joseph's-Long Island at noon.
